A lively discussion at the dinner table turned into a visionary business. Yorokani Founder Franziska’s grandfather wore shirts every day. „I never saw him in a shirt. He only felt dressed in a shirt!“ Papou was very temperamental and so many of his days began with great annoyance. For him, every button was too big for the hole and he was unable to dress himself without facing the „button obstacle“.
At a dinner, a director friend told Franziska and her husband and Co-Founder Johannes about filming in the USA. She told them that it was quite common there not only to close handbags magnetically but also shirts. From this idea, the first patented magnetic button shirt was born – Yorokani.
