Yorokani

Goal

Building a brand that tells the story of adaptive function as a modern design (not as a "tool") – and translating the whole thing into a high-performing e-commerce: clear product logic, trust, conversion, recognition on the shelf (packaging) and online.

About the customer:

Yorokani is "the original" for magnetic clothing: blouses and shirts with magnetic closures, designed for people for whom classic buttons become a hurdle (e.g., in cases of arthritis, rheumatism, or after a stroke) – with strong demands on aesthetics and self-determination.

role

Branding, packaging and Shopify e-commerce for magnetic clothing

2021

Building a brand that conveys adaptive functionality through modern YOROKANI design (not as a "medical aid") – and translating this into a high-performing e-commerce platform: clear product logic, trust, conversion, and brand recognition on the shelf (packaging) and online.

Brand & Narrative: We developed the core idea of "self-determination through ease" as the brand story and language – perfectly aligned with Yorokani's philosophy ("Liberté, Égalité, Magnetverschlüssé").

Packaging & Visual Systematics: Development of a packaging/design system that conveys both premium quality and medical relevance (clear, dignified, non-clinical) – consistently across products and touchpoints.

E-commerce (Shopify): Setup and implementation of the shop and its structure on Shopify, including product presentation and the customer journey (understand → trust → purchase). (The shop is powered by Shopify.)

Proof & Trust Layer: Brand and communication logic designed so that awards, patents/innovations, and timelines are seamlessly integrated as anchors of trust (webshop live 2021; German Design Award & German Innovation Award 2022).

Working Method: Implementation according to our logic "Future → Meaning → Impact": first structure & positioning, then story & system, then visible assets (design, packaging, shop, communications).
